Pace County Farms and Scenes of the Town

For this project, my focus was divided on two major points. The first was the Pace couple, owners of Pace County farms. My relationship with these kind people allowed me to witness, document, and appreciate a livelihood that is largely forgotten in urban environments. My goal was to show how these hardworking, smart, and purposeful people interact with the animals that support them and provide them company. The second focus of my project was on isolated moments in Lockhart that would come together to create a "feeling" that is indicative of life in this small town. I shot these images on a Canon 30d digital SLR, a Canon Ae-1 35mm camera, and a Yashica t-4 point and shoot camera.
