Taylor Alexis Craig

Lockhart, Texas, located about an hour outside of the capital, is a small, closely knit community. These images show the discovery of the town and the way that life in this small community exists. I talked to various residents of the community and heard their stories. I visited local landmarks, and businesses, and documented their existence and impact within the community of Lockhart. I also received the privilege to visit a local ranch and document the people and work that is conducted there. These images serve to show a deeper aspect of the life and residents of Lockhart, Texas. A large amount of time was spent following a new, grass roots, volunteer organization in the small town of Lockhart, Texas called Imagine Lockhart. This organization focuses on improving the environment in this small town. These images follow Imagine Lockhart through their journey and volunteer activities.
