Dr. Russ:

I received my Ph.D. from the University of Vermont and my B.A. from the University of Colorado, at Boulder. I joined the faculty at St. Edward's University in 2003 following a three-year postdoctoral fellowship at Dartmouth College. As of the fall of 2008, I am the acting Chair of the Department of Psychology here at St. Ed's.

My area of specialization is behavioral neuroscience, with specific interests in spatial navigation, sexual behavior, models of relapse, and various theories of cognition, learning and memory.

I teach courses in behavioral neuroscience, learning and cognition, chemical dependency, independent research, human sexuality, internships, community service, contemporary biology (the biological basis of human behavior) and personality theory.
