I
received my Ph.D. from the University
of Vermont and my B.A. from the University
of Colorado, at Boulder. I joined the faculty at St.
Edward's University in 2003 following a three-year postdoctoral
fellowship at Dartmouth College. After serving as the Chair of the Department of Psychology here at St. Ed's. for several years and briefly as Associate Dean of the School of Behavioral and Social Sciences, I am taking on the role of Interim Dean of the School.

My
area of specialization is behavioral neuroscience, with specific
interests in spatial navigation, female sexual behavior, models of relapse, and various
theories of cognition, learning and memory.
I
teach courses in behavioral neuroscience, learning and cognition,
chemical dependency, research and field experience, human sexuality, and
contemporary biology.
