The purpose of this course is to introduce students to a learning strategy that integrates practical work experience with a directed, reflective, academic component so as to develop personal, professional, and academic competencies. Students will be using the workplace as a starting point for study; however, students will need to go beyond the common experiences of a typical employee. Study, reasoning, theoretical and/or conceptual exploration supplement students� work experience to help them better develop new skills and knowledge.
